Dr. Fallon Patel

Dr. Fallon Patel completed her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Optometry from the University of Waterloo with Deans Honour List in 2011. She has been providing comprehensive eye care services for over 12 years. Dr. Patel provides comprehensive eye care for all ages. With a special interest in helping children, it is her mission to ensure that our paediatric population have access to current and up-to-date preventative eye care services. With this interest, Dr. Patel furthered her studies to complete a fellowship with the College of Vision Development (FCOVD), the leading non-profit organization focused on advancing excellence in optometric vision therapy and myopia management. This extensive process allows for Dr. Patel to comprehensively examine and confidently treat children requiring myopia control including orthokeratology, vision therapy and rehabilitation. With this subset Dr. Patel also provides care for paediatric and adult patients having keratoconus to be fitted into scleral lenses. Dr. Patel and the Canadian Optometric Association recommends that your child have their first eye exam at 6 months of age and then to check yearly. Dr. Fallon Patel was born in Hamilton, Ontario and now with her family resides in Oakville, Ontario. On her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband, two small children and their family dog, a Keeshimo. She also enjoys the outdoors, reading and fine arts.
