Dr. Fallon Patel O. D.

Dr. Fallon Patel completed her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Optometry from the University of Waterloo with Deans Honour List in 2011. She has been providing comprehensive eye care services for over 12 years. Dr. Patel provides comprehensive eye care for all ages. With a special interest in helping children, it is her mission to ensure that our paediatric population have access to current and up-to-date preventative eye care services. With this interest, Dr. Patel furthered her studies to complete a fellowship with the College of Vision Development (FCOVD), the leading non-profit organization focused on advancing excellence in optometric vision therapy and myopia management. This extensive process allows for Dr. Patel to comprehensively examine and confidently treat children requiring myopia control including orthokeratology, vision therapy and rehabilitation. With this subset Dr. Patel also provides care for paediatric and adult patients having keratoconus to be fitted into scleral lenses. Dr. Patel and the Canadian Optometric Association recommends that your child have their first eye exam at 6 months of age and then to check yearly. Dr. Fallon Patel was born in Hamilton, Ontario and now with her family resides in Oakville, Ontario. On her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband, two small children and their family dog, a Keeshimo. She also enjoys the outdoors, reading and fine arts.​​​​

Dr. Angela Fu O. D.

​​​​​​​Dr. Angela Fu graduated from the University of Waterloo, School of Optometry, International Optometric Bridging Program. She obtained her license for practicing optometry, board certification to treat and manage ocular diseases in 2012 and started to practice in Ontario since then. Dr. Fu also has a Master Degree of Ophthalmology from Fudan University, Shanghai Medical School in China where she completed her internship in general ocular disease and specialty clinical training in pediatric eye care. She has 5 years working experience as an ophthalmologist at hospitals. Dr. Fu has been providing comprehensive patient care in ocular health field since 2004. She has extensive experience in determining various refractive errors, prescribing glasses and contact lens, diagnosing and treating eye diseases, co-management with other health specialists. In her spare time, she loves travelling, music and spending time with family.​​​​

Dr. Shobitha Ratnakumar O. D.

Dr. Shobitha Ratnakumar received her Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences from University of Toronto. She then went on to receive her Bachelor of Science in Optometry from Aston University in Birmingham, United Kingdom. Following this she continued her training at Boots Opticians in Swindon, United Kingdom where she gained valuable experiences in diagnosing various eye diseases and fitting different types of contact lenses. Dr. Ratnakumar has over 9 years of experience in optometric practice and she enjoys providing comprehensive eye examinations for all ages and fits a wide variety of contact lenses.​​​​

Dr. Rajwinder Saggu O. D.

Dr. Rajwinder Saggu grew up in Oakville, Ontario and attended McMaster University in Hamilton, where she received her Bachelors of Life Sciences degree with Honours. She then went on to complete her Doctor of Optometry degree at Nova Southeastern University In Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. During her Optometry training, Dr. Saggu resided on the Beta Sigma Kappa Honour’s society for all four years of her schooling. She has received extensive training in ocular disease, and contact lenses through externship programs with The Eye Centers of South Florida in Miami, and Envision Eye Care In Ft. Lauderdale.  Dr. Saggu is an active member of the College of Optometrists of Ontario and Ontario Association of Optometrists. She is fluent in English, Punjabi and Hindi. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Saggu enjoys reading books, traveling, cooking different cuisines.​​​​

Dr. Colleen Brown O. D.

Dr. Colleen Brown is passionate about providing comprehensive eyecare for patients of all ages. She has a professional interest in dry eye management, ocular nutrition and disease prevention. Dr. Brown has been practicing optometry for over 20 years and has been working in Burlington for the last 10 years since moving from her hometown of Calgary. Dr. Brown graduated from the University of Waterloo with her Doctor of Optometry (Dean’s Honours List) with awards in excellence for Low Vision and Binocular Vision. Dr. Brown also has a B.Sc. in Cellular, Molecular and Microbial Biology with distinction from the University of Calgary. Dr. Brown and her family live in Oakville. She is an avid tennis player and enjoys travel, reading and walking with her two dogs.​​​​

Dr. John Paul Militar O. D.

Dr. Militar completed his Bachelor of Science Honors Degree at the University of Toronto where he graduated with distinctions. He then completed his Doctor of Optometry Degree at the New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Militar has had extensive training in ocular disease, primary care, low vision as well several speciality contact lenses. He trained at several Veterans Affairs Hospitals, including the Jamaica Plain VA in Boston and the Hudson Valley VA in New York. He also worked alongside several ophthalmologists at The Eye Centers of South Florida in Miami and the Boston Foundation for Sight in Massachusetts. Dr. Militar is a member of the College of Optometrists of Ontario, Ontario Association of Optometrists and the Canadian Association of Optometrists. He is also board certified in both Canada and the United States. Dr. Militar is dedicated to providing high quality comprehensive eye care and welcomes patients of all ages.​​​​

Dr. Divya Mistry O. D.

Dr. Divya Mistry received her Bachelors of Science in Optometry from the University of Bradford in the United Kingdom. After gaining her degree, she continued to work overseas for 6 years allowing her to gaining experience in diagnosing and managing various eye conditions. To add, she has experience in fitting a wide rage of contact lenses to help fit your needs. Dr. Mistry has an interest in ocular disease and is dedicated to helping you improve and maintain excellent eye health. Dr. Mistry is passionate about building relationships with her patients and looks forward to getting to know you and your family. Outside of work, she enjoys keeping active where she is regularly involved in exploring the outdoors, bouldering, fitness and traveling.​​​​

Dr. Chloe Somers O. D.

Dr. Chloe Somers graduated from Queen’s University with a Honours Bachelor of Science in Biology. She then went on to New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts to obtain her Doctor of Optometry.  ​​​​​​​Her training focused on ocular disease and low vision, working in Veterans Affairs hospitals in Providence, RI and Buffalo, NY. She also spent time learning from a diverse group of ophthalmologists and optometrists in Miami, FL.  After practicing in Boston, Dr. Somers decided to return home to Ontario but remains board certified in both Canada and the United States. Outside of work, she enjoys baking, traveling, and reading the latest best-seller novel.​​​​

Dr. Sheran Sahota O. D.

Dr. Sheran Sahota is a primary care eye care physician who is passionate about providing a comprehensive and comfortable patient care experience, with an emphasis on contact lenses and therapeutics. She is committed to serving the needs of diverse communities with previous externships and volunteer experiences in low-income communities and veterans. Dr. Sahota graduated from the Illinois College of Optometry with her Doctor of Optometry in 2018. Prior to her doctorate, she earned her Bachelor of Science (Honours) from the University of Western Ontario with a double major in physiology and psychology (Dean's Honours List). Dr. Sahota is a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society, Ontario College of Optometrists, Canadian and Ontario Association of Optometrists.  Outside of her professional career, she enjoys travelling, music, and exploring local restaurants.  Dr. Sahota provides service in English and Punjabi.​​​​

Dr. Ashiwini Selvakumar O.D.

Dr. Ashiwini Selvakumar completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Guelph, and then continued to pursue her Doctor of Optometry degree at the New England College of Optometry in Boston. She has had the opportunity to train and complete her rotations at various clinical sites in the States, including Boston Medical Centre, VA Medical Centres, various community health centres in Boston, and a private practice in both Illinois and New Hampshire. Dr. Selvakumar enjoys working with patients of all ages, and has a keen interest in ocular disease and myopia control. During her free time she enjoys spending time outdoors, exploring new places to eat, and spending time with her friends and family.​​​​

Dr. Andrew Chen O.D.

Dr. Andrew Chen is dedicated to changing the way people see the world. He is passionate in the technologies and innovations that provide his patients sight, comfort and ocular health. He graduated from the New England College of Optometry and had gathered experience in ocular disease management in community health centres, veterans affairs clinics and specialty clinics at Tufts Medical Center. His training in contact lenses (including specialty contact lenses), pediatric optometry, myopia management, vision therapy, and dry eye treatment provides a wealth of eye care knowledge which he applies to his patient care. In his free time, Dr. Andrew Chen is an ardent home cook, enjoys bouldering, and a R&B enthusiast.​​​​

Dr. Samiha Reza O.D.

Dr. Samiha Reza received her Optometry degree from the University of Waterloo School of Optometry, graduating with distinction and prior to that completed her degree in Honour's Biology from McMaster University. During optometry school Dr. Reza received a scholarship with Transitions Optical in 2022 and was involved with the American Optometric Student Association. Dr. Reza resides in Mississauga, and in her free time she loves to go to the gym, read books and engage in social media. She completed her ocular disease rotation at an ophthalmology clinic, Scarborough Eye Associates where she was exposed to many complex diseases of the eye and completed her primary care rotation at Clarity Eye Care Optometry in Mississauga. ​​​​

Dr. Isha Gupta O.D.

Dr. Isha Gupta received her Bachelor of Science from York University. She then continued her academic journey at the University of Waterloo, obtaining a Doctor of Optometry degree. Driven by a desire to enhance patients' quality of life, Dr. Gupta has developed a keen interest in myopia control and dry eye management. With a comprehensive understanding of these conditions, Dr. Gupta strives to provide personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs, ensuring optimal eye health and visual comfort. Dr. Gupta understands the importance of open communication and encourages patients to ask questions, ensuring a collaborative approach to your eye care journey. In her spare time, she loves to travel the world and attend concerts. Driven by a curiosity for different cultures and destinations, Dr. Gupta enjoys hearing about her patients' travel plans and welcomes suggestions for new places to visit. Dr. Glenda Thai O.D.

Dr. Glenda Thai earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Waterloo and remained there to complete her Doctor of Optometry degree, where she graduated with distinction. Her training focused on ocular disease, low vision, and myopia management. Dr. Thai is keen on providing high quality pediatric and infant eye exams. She has had the opportunity to work in optometric practices in Ontario as well as ophthalmology practices in St. Petersburg, Florida, where she solidified her knowledge in the treatment and management of chronic ocular conditions.​​​​

Dr. Rehanna Ali O.D.

Dr. Rehanna Ali completed her Bachelors in Biomedical Science and Doctor of Optometry degree with Dean’s Honours at the University of Waterloo. She has extensive training in ocular disease management, dry eye and pediatrics from clinical externships in Winnipeg (Manitoba) and Waterloo (Ontario). In addition to providing exceptional eye care to patients of all ages, her special interests include dry eye management, contact lenses, myopia control, and cataract/ refractive surgery co-management. She is a member of the College of Optometrists of Ontario, Ontario Association of Optometrists and Canadian Association of Optometrists. Dr Ali is also board certified in both Canada and the United States. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, baking, biking and playing with her feisty kitten, Luna.​​​​

Dr. Lillian Morgan O.D.

Dr. Lillian Morgan received her Honors Bachelor of Science at McMaster University and later went on to complete her Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of Waterloo. During Optometry school Dr. Lillian Morgan completed her rotations in primary care and ocular disease where also she developed an interest in myopia control, and contact lenses. She has also gained a passion for low vision and received an award for Clinical Excellence in Low vision from the University of Waterloo. Dr. Lillian Morgan strives to provide the best care possible for her patients and give them the best experience possible. In her free time, she enjoys reading, spending quality time with friends and family, and listening to music.​​​​

Dr. Shiv Tamakuwala O.D.

Dr. Shiv Tamakuwala earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology at York University, before graduating from the UIW Rosenberg School of Optometry in Texas where he developed a commitment to excellence and compassionate healthcare. His training at the UIW Eye Institute, ParkHurst NuVision, Community Eye Clinic, and Ginter Eyecare Center provided him with advanced clinical experiences in primary and pediatric eyecare, specialty contact lenses, myopia management, dry eye treatment, and refractive surgery including LASIK and cataracts. He is also experienced with systemic and ocular disease such as diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, and emergency eye care. Dr. Tamakuwala is a member of the Gold Key Optometric Honor Society, College of Optometrists of Ontario, Ontario Association of Optometrists, and Canadian Association of Optometrists. His commitment to ongoing education and professional development drives him to offer the latest advancements to his patients. He enjoys sports and fitness, travelling, and spending time with his friends and family. Dr. Tamakuwala can connect with patients of all ages and backgrounds and looks forward to seeing you for your next eye exam. ​​​​
